Spring has brought a whirlwind of visitors! We ended March with a visit from Grandmama & Papa Hollebeek en route to MI from NM. The following Friday afternoon brought visits from Em's internship friend Ali and her husband Tony. That evening we enjoyed a busy cookout with the DeHoops as well as a Brechting contingent (Oma, Opa, Aunt Stacey, Keegan, & Cara). After swimming at the hotel pool, we bid them farewell. A few days later, we started a nice long visit from Em's close friend Brooke and her daughters. They moved to SC in late January and we were thrilled to reconnect. This past weekend we enjoyed a great day at Lexington's Kite Fest with Uncle Matt, Aunt Robin, Jack, & Avery. It has been great to spend time with so many loved ones.
As you can see from our previous post, we enjoyed a wonderful Easter with the Dodges. The Monday after Easter, we decided to spend a little family time together and ventured to the zoo. The boys' terrific nanny Joy gave them an annual pass to the Louisville zoo for their birthdays. We were ready to start exploring. Here are a few pictures from our fun day. The boys loved it and each fella had his own favorites. Paxton was a bit disgruntled that he wasn't allowed on "that fun playground" with the monkeys...yes, that would be the monkey exhibit he wanted to play in. We had a great day and look forward to our next visit.
