We brought the boys to a neighborhood playground for a change of scenery for all of us. We'd been working on holding hands with Mommy and Daddy when walking around in public. On this particular night, the boys got out of the van and started running toward the playground. On their way, they linked hands and marched the rest of the way together. It was truly a special moment.
Leighton went with Mommy to visit brand new Baby Calla (in Em's arms). Calla is the daughter of Em's good friend Brooke and the sister of proud big sister Kate.
Our neighborhood hosts a 4th of July picnic and parade a week before the actual holiday. The boys were excited to see all the kids and particularly enthusiastic about the ladder fire truck that led the parade.
