Our church put together a spring fest with a super hero theme. This year's festival included a car show so we brought the Mustang (and the minivan). Phil even won a prize. We used the strollers to transport the boys to the festivities and then set them loose. Thank goodness our dear friends, the Dodge family, met us there. Trying to corral the boys during the skit, chase them through inflatables, and keep up with them during all the games was a challenge. We managed to enjoy ourselves and have a few conversations thanks to all of their involvement. I've included a picture of each of the boys below.
Super Leighton! He's bigger than the average kid and apparently stronger too! Look at him holding up that taxi with just a few fingers and no evidence of effort. Our hero!
The boys tried cotton candy for the first time. Leighton touched his tongue to it and started spitting it out. "Yuck! No more." As for Paxton, the picture says it all! He ate an entire cotton candy cloud by himself. It's no surprise that he did not take a nap today.
That's our boys.....CUTE! Way to go, Paxton......isn't cotton candy a fruit exchange or something?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sending the pictures. We're still chuckling.
